Liu Wenzheng used to be the most famous Chinese male singer in the 1970s and 1980s. During his glorious years he was often honoured for his outstanding achievements in singing and performing. But he was quite aware that modesty and self-discipline are very important to his career as a celebrity(名人). He is loved by hundreds of thousands of faithful fans not just because he is handsome and graceful, but also because has good personality and good manners. For us, those were wonderful and unforgettable days that we will always treasure and Liu has been our favourite star ever since. It is a fact that the more we miss him, the more we love his songs and vice versa(反之亦然). Many of his hits(热门歌曲) remain classics, and his style both as a singer and a performer has influenced nearly all who follow him. It’s difficult to decide which of his songs is the best. Too many to choose from. But I think this “Love Constellation”(星座) should be among the nominees(候选者). When I first heard it, I fell in love with it. Each time I hear the song, I have a complex feeling. Not all the beautiful songs make people happy; some can really make you sad, and “Love Constellation” belongs to the latter. It seems to me that it was specially composed for Wenzheng. He says in the song he can accept love, but meanwhile he is only a love constellation. What does he mean? Will this Scorpio(天蝎座) star stay in the high sky and can only be watched but not touched? Can we only show love to him from so far away? How long shall we wait till the day when this flying eagle comes back to his original net? A!c.P2

As time goes on, people are becoming more concerned and curious about him because people are beginning to miss good old days. Liu is said to be living in America and traveling all over the world. He wants to enjoy a free life and doesn’t like to be disturbed by the media. Now he has become a mysterious person. Few people know exactly where he is , what he is doing, why he doesn’t appear and when he will return. Is he too indifferent(冷漠) ? I don’t think so. He has his own way of life. We should respect his decision. It is lucky that we have his songs, his films, his pictures and his stories to accompany us, so in some way he is with us every day. pS0T>r
